HITCHCOCK’S SIX PERFECT FILMS.

Only very few directors are lucky enough to have made the perfect film. Alfred Hitchcock, the cinema’s greatest director, made six. Six perfect films in which every shot, every camera move, every editing sequence is, well, perfect. Here they are, listed chronologically. Note that four of the six star Hitchcock’s favorite leading men Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart with two films each. Also note that as the forties became the fifties, Hitchcock’s famous cameo appearance occurred earlier in the movie so as not to distract the viewer.
