BAFTA Awards: The Power of the Dog | CODA | Dune.

Jane Campion

Again, no surprises at BAFTA and Oscar will follow.

“The Power of the Dog” taking the top two prises of Film and Director (Jane Campion) and “Dune” winning five technical awards. This should increase to six with Oscar since it will also capture Best Editing (“No Time to Die” is not nominated in this category).

Joanna Scanlan is not in the running for Best Actress which is now favoring Jessica Chastain.

Best Adapted Screenplay went to CODA making it the favorite in this hugely competitive category as it leaps over “The Power of the Dog” and “The Lost Daughter”.
